The Interviews

Last 2 weeks, kot. tak ingat. I went to an interview.

biasalah interview, muka wat lek wat peace. tp dalam hati. hanya Allah yang tahu.
kalau boleh bawak jantung tu keluar, dah pegang dah. fuh!

its my first interview, for a job related to what i'm studying.
seriously, the day before, gi survey tempat
the night before dok gosok baju, prepare semua.
the morning, dok pulun baca notes yang ada kaitan dengan position tu.
i was nervous!

okay, da siap. baca bismillah. drive there.

i read a thing or two about interview. so, saya dah prepare lah answer for the questions that might be ask.

here's a couple of tips for the fresh graduates going on for a job interview.

1. Dress smartly. Self grooming.

bukan yang macam kpop tu, tp smart as in kemas, bersih and teratur. kalau apply untuk korporat position, dress the approriate way. korporat style. dark-coloured kemeja, slack. tie for guys. AVOID warna yang terang, baju yang bercorak melampau. sebelum masuk tempat interview, check yourself dulu, tidy-up yourself.

2. Prepare the file.

print out resume, letter of recommendation or appreciation kalau ada. susun file. elok2. kalau saya, saya susun resume and academic achievement dulu then my co-curricular. Put it nicely and neatly.

3. Prepare the needed items.

salinan IC, gambar passport. tu je yang penting rasanya.
tapi saya prepare sekali semua salinan kwsp and my bank statement. kotla dorang nak kan.

4. Prepare for the question.

i) ceritakan, pasal latar belakang diri.

this kind of question, saya cerita pasal basic profile saya, nama, umur, asal and dulu belajar mana semua. jangan melampau pulak cerita. nanti panel bosan. susah la. if you have the experienced of working in related field, tell them. i told them about my practical experienced. things i do semua.

ii) in your opinion, macam mana cara nak improvekan 'this' department ?

this question almost kills me. takpe. tarik nafas, refer balik notes, cakap apa yang berkaitan, things yang kita rasa relevant. put in your opinion as well as the facts.

iii) apa kelebihan awak?

I search this online. the best answer is, the answer related to the job. my past interview, panel tu tanya soalan ni. saya jawab, saya jenis senang mesra. apakah?! waktu tu budak hingusan lagi. seriously takde kaitan dengan the particular jobs. panel tu terus attack and attack lagi. jawablah jenis yang bekerja bersungguh-sungguh ke, someone yang always opened up for learning new things ke. yang penting positive and related

iv) apa kelemahan awak?

alhamdulillah they didn't ask me this. sebab nie, seriously saya tak gheti nak jawab. but i do search it, they said, answer something that related to your strength atau something yang boleh membawa kesan positif. janganlah jawab, cepat marah ke, pemalas ke. confirm rejet nanti!

v) why i should give you this job?

jawab bersungguh-sungguh. sell yourself in a  good away but avoid being arrogant.

vi) awak tak continue study?

soalan ni memang common untuk fresh graduates, lagi-lagi diploma and spm. because they looking for someone thats gonna work for a long time, bkan sebulan dua je. so, if posiibly, answer them in a perspective way that notes you gonna work there for quite some time. ^^

vii) your expected salary?

yang ni memang penting. i make a mistakes on this so, don't u make one too. kalau anda ada qualifications, give them based on your qualifications, diploma, degree, search the current rates for the fresh graduates. tapiii, jangan bagi exact amounts, better give them range i guess or thing like, " maybe above RM......"

5. Be confident.

this is the most important things. kalau cuak pon, jangan tunjuk. cuba tenang. baca doa banyak-banyak. in sha Allah dengan izin-NYA. semua ok aje.

6. Be polite.

adab pun kena jaga, masuk tu, bagi salam. if non-muslim, say your greetings, good morning or anything. tanya dulu boleh saya duduk ke? jangan main duduk je. first impression is important.

thats all the tips. alhamdulillah, among 5 people yang di-interview. i get the job.sujud syukur. so, those yang ada interviews, jobs interview ke, scholar interview ke, prepare yoursef. do it the old way. usaha + doa + tawakal.

Upin & Ipin

"There are times, when the kids starts crying, I get lost. Not knowing what to do. The solution? tuned in to any cartoons. trust me. IT WORKS. A LOT!"

Petang tadi, kakak ajak teman pergi Pos Laju nak amik barang.
so, saya macam. Okay, solat jap.

Dah sampai pos laju, bagi reference number semua. then, wait.
Tunggu punya tunggu. Aish! apsal lambat sangat ni. takpe. tunggu je lah.
memandangkan bawak Amsyar (nephew), kene la jaga dia.

Naturally budak, rimas orang ramai, panas, cepat bosan.
Amsyar dah meragam. bawak jalan, dukung, ajak tengok kereta, burung, kucing, segala apa yang nampaklah.

Then, " Nur Hafiza". i was like, wuh! da settle.
Bila balik, jalan jammed.normal la KL, petang pulak tu.

Amsyar start meragam balik. Dia haus-bosan-membuang pulak. Triple bencana! hah!
ajak tengok kereta - tak layan-
bukak kucing kat handphone -tak lut-
tunjuk-tunjuk bas/lori -tak toleh pun-
saya dah macam, cemane ni.. jammed pulak tu

last solution, bukak youtube. search UPIN IPIN.
ajak tengok. -Tak nak katanya-

but the moment the video play. shhh~~ shhh~~~ apakah? bunyi angin?!
kononnyer tak nak, sekali! he was focus!. No more crying, No more whining.

i was like. THE POWER OF UPIN & IPIN.
one word. peace.
just like pororo took over korea, same goes to upin ipin.*power giler kembar ni*
so, balik tu. takde dia dia nangis-nangis merengek semua.
hanya kedengaran suara si upin and adiknyer aje.*clap clap clap*


So, my advice to all the parents out there,aunty uncle macam saya ni pun bole. hehe.
simpan lah koleksi cartoon dalam u punya phone, tab, or lappy.
when the kids cry, open the video and press play.
you can see the miracle.
It helps me. A Lot.
